Designed by farmers, for farmers

When it came time to install our electric fencing, we couldn’t find a cost-effective option that was durable and easy to install, so we developed our own — PlusPost.

PlusPost fence posts replace traditional wood or metal posts in electric fencing, keeping your livestock — such as cattle, sheep, goats and pigs — safe at a fraction of the cost.

Made from 99% recycled plastic

PlusPost’s fence posts are made using 99% recycled plastic, making them inexpensive, durable and environmentally friendly — the other 1% is comprised of materials that protect the posts from sun damage.

PlusPost fence posts are lightweight and can be installed with an earth auger in half the time compared to wood or metal posts — saving you thousands of dollars in specialized equipment rentals and labour.

And because our posts are made from plastic, your fence won’t need insulators.

About PlusPost

A better way to fence

We understand the pressures faced by farmers and homesteaders, because we’re homesteaders ourselves. Operating costs are high and margins are tight, so the last thing you need is the expense of installing or replacing your electric fence every few years.

The rising cost of metal and lumber, along with soaring labour and equipment costs, cut into your profits even more… or eliminate them altogether. That’s why we developed PlusPost fence posts.

Armed with a mission and an advanced Diploma in Engineering Technology from Mohawk College we set out to create the perfect post — designed by farmers for farmers. And we know they work, because we use them to keep our own animals safe.

Each PlusPost fence post is produced in Canada using recycled materials, making them affordable and environmentally -friendly. And because we personally inspect each post, we maintain a high level of quality control.

We didn’t reinvent fencing. We just found a better way to do it.
